Rice is the major agricultural crop of Korea. If the ground is flat, there will be rice growing - even up to the 20 story apartments. If the ground isn't flat, corn or other vegetables will be grown. Corn is even planted around some of the railroad stations in the countryside. |

 Every square inch of land is used for agriculture right up to the mountains and sometimes they will be terraced if they are not too steep. There are 48 million Koreans and they eat rice and vegetables at every meal. |
