		By around 1300 A.D. all of the great Anasazi pueblos had been abandoned. It is not know why this happened. There have been conjectures that it was caused by droughts or by raids by other Indians from the East.  By 1300 A.D. they had moved to the pueblos along the Rio Grande River in New Mexico or to the Hopi Mesas in Arizona.
