Chettro Kettle...

		Chettro Kettle  Chettro Kettle is just a short distance from Pueblo Bonito. Viewed from the cliff you can see the high back wall. At one time the rooms were terraced from front to back with the higher rooms at the back. Note the Great Kiva in the center of the plaza.

		The Great Kiva of Chettro Kettle  Note the detail of the stonework of the kiva in the foreground.  Being the focal point of the pueblo, it is thought that the Great Kiva served the entire village while the smaller kivas probably belonged to various clans or societies.
