Utah Centennial Passport

Utah Centennial Passport

The Passport became quite tattered after carrying it in my back jersey pocket for over 4,000 miles. I carried it in a zip-lock baggie which I also used to carry a little money for stops at convenience stores for food. At one time I made a phone call to let my wife know where I was and I opened the zip-lock baggie for money. In my hurry I left it at the phone. I had ridden about 5 miles before I realized it was missing. I returned and it wasn't there but, luckily, an honest person left it in the store. After that mishap, I was always very paranoid about loosing my Passport.

Inside of the Passport

There is information about each county inside the passport. See County Information for complete text. The little map of Utah shows the location of the county in the state and gives celebrations throughout the year. The stamping locations are in the white block where the passport is stamped. The locations were sometimes very hard to find or out of the way for someone on a bicycle.
